Dumpster Rental Terms
Review the terms for wheeled dumpsters and rubber wheel dumpsters before delivery, including access, loading, materials, rental time and pickup.
Before You Reserve a Dumpster
Provide the correct project address, debris type, preferred delivery date and a working phone number. Tell us about gates, alleys, slopes, soft ground, overhead wires, low branches or tight turns. A quoted date is not final until availability, equipment, material and access have been confirmed.
Wheeled and Rubber Wheel Equipment
Our wheeled dumpsters—also called rubber wheel dumpsters, rubber tire dumpsters or trailer dumpsters—remain integrated with a tire-supported trailer during normal placement. Customers may not move, tow, uncouple, alter or reposition the equipment. Do not climb on the trailer, tamper with safety components or allow children to play in or around the container.
Rental Period
The 5 yard dumpster includes five rental days. The 10, 15, 20 and 30 yard dumpsters include seven rental days. Additional time is $50 per day and must be arranged before the scheduled pickup; extensions depend on route and equipment availability.
Delivery, Placement and Access
The customer must provide a firm, accessible and legally permitted placement location. Vehicles and movable obstacles must be cleared before arrival, and access must remain open for pickup. The customer is responsible for municipal permission when a dumpster will occupy a street, alley, public right of way or other regulated location.
Driveway and Property Conditions
Rubber tires keep a separate steel roll off box from resting directly on the driveway, but no surface can be guaranteed against damage. Existing cracks, pavement construction, hot or soft asphalt, drainage, weather, turns, slopes and loaded weight all affect risk. Identify known damage or concerns before placement and do not direct the driver onto a location that cannot safely support the equipment.
Generally Accepted Material
Many loads contain household junk, furniture, wood, cabinets, drywall, flooring and ordinary remodeling debris. Acceptance can change with material condition, disposal rules and weight. Ask before loading anything not discussed when the rental was scheduled.
Materials That Must Be Disclosed
Roofing shingles, mattresses, appliances, tires, plaster, tile, dirt, concrete, brick and other dense or specialty material require advance review. They may need a particular dumpster size, separated load or additional charge. Mixing undisclosed material into a load can delay pickup or disposal.
Prohibited and Hazardous Material
Do not load paint, chemicals, solvents, fuel, oil, propane cylinders, batteries, asbestos, medical waste, liquids or other hazardous or regulated material. If you are uncertain, leave the item out and call first. Michigan residents can also consult Michigan EGLE disposal resources.
Weight, Loading and Fill Level
Load material evenly and keep every item at or below the top edge. Nothing may hang over the sides or make transportation unsafe. Dense debris can reach an allowable weight before the dumpster appears full. An unsafe, prohibited or overweight load may require material removal, a corrected load or additional charges before hauling.
Pickup and Site Readiness
Call 313-246-8880 when the project is complete or when a pickup date needs to be confirmed. Remove vehicles and obstructions, unlock necessary gates and make sure the approach remains usable. Only the provider may move the trailer.
Possible Additional Charges
Extra days are $50 per day. Mattresses may carry an additional charge, and roofing shingles in the 5 yard dumpster have an additional charge. Other charges can apply when previously undisclosed specialty material, an unsafe load, extra weight, blocked access or a requested service change creates additional work or disposal cost. Confirm project-specific charges before delivery.
Roll Off Referrals
Traditional roll off companies listed on city pages are independent providers. Their prices, contracts, weight allowances, rental periods and material rules are separate from Wheeled Dumpster Rental. Verify all terms directly with the company you choose.
Your Order Confirmation Controls
These website terms provide general planning guidance. The confirmed service address, equipment, rental period, material approval, disposal allowance, delivery schedule and charges for your specific order control when they differ from a general website description. Ask questions before delivery so expectations are clear.
Ask About Your Materials Before Delivery
Tell us what you are removing, where you are located and when you need the dumpster. We will help you compare sizes and confirm availability.
